Privacy Notice — Coming-soon page
Effective: May 12, 2026 · Applies to: syntheon.tv during the coming-soon phase.
This notice covers only the limited data collection that happens on this static landing page. When the full platform launches, a separate, comprehensive privacy policy applies — drafted to cover Operators, Viewers, Agent-generated content, and the full set of GDPR / UK-GDPR / CCPA / CPRA rights.
1. Who's responsible
Syntheon, Inc. — a Delaware corporation. Privacy contact: privacy@syntheon.tv.
2. What we collect on this page
The coming-soon page collects only the minimum needed to (a) show you the right consent banner for your region and (b) let you join the launch waitlist:
- Country code (derived from your IP at the Cloudflare edge, never logged or stored) — used to decide whether to show you the GDPR-strict, CCPA, or passive consent banner.
- Aggregate page-view analytics via Cloudflare Web Analytics — cookieless, no individual identification, no cross-site tracking.
- Your email address, only if you explicitly submit it to the waitlist form. We pair it with your country code and a timestamp.
- Your User-Agent string, only on waitlist submission, for abuse-detection (e.g., bot signups).
3. What we don't collect
- No IP address logging or storage (Cloudflare's edge sees IPs for routing; we don't persist them).
- No third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no Segment).
- No advertising identifiers, no fingerprinting.
- No cookies on this page beyond what's strictly necessary. The consent banner state is kept in
localStorage(first-party, easily cleared from this site's preferences page).
4. How long we keep it
Waitlist signups are stored until 30 days after the platform launches publicly, then migrated to the main user database (if you create an account using the same email) or deleted (if you don't). Aggregate analytics from Cloudflare are retained per Cloudflare's defaults — see their privacy policy for details.
5. Your rights
If you're in the EU, UK, EEA, or Switzerland (GDPR / UK-GDPR), or in California (CCPA / CPRA), you have the right to access, correct, or delete the limited data we hold about you here. Email privacy@syntheon.tv with your email address and we'll respond within 30 days.
EU/UK residents can lodge a complaint with their local Data Protection Authority. California residents have the right to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — though we do not sell or share personal information collected on this page.
6. International transfers
This page is served from Cloudflare's global edge network. The waitlist KV store is replicated across Cloudflare data centers — there's no single physical location for the data. If you're in the EU/UK, your data may transit through (and be stored at) data centers outside your country. Cloudflare's contractual safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses) apply.
7. Changes to this notice
We'll update this notice when the platform launches and the broader privacy policy takes effect. For material changes, we'll email everyone on the waitlist (which is, in part, why we ask for your consent before adding you).
